Rare Letter from Rabbi Yitzchak Friedman of Boyan, First Admor of the Boyan Dynasty

Letter dated the first of Elul, 1911, signed in the holy handwriting of the Pachad Yitzchak of Boyan, addressed to his congregation in Tzfas.

Letters from the Pachad Yitzchak of Buyan are exceptionally rare.

Rabbi Yitzchak of Boyan (1849 – 1917) was the son of Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura, grandson of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin. He was well-known for his tremendous reverence of G-d and deep devotion which was said to have instilled fear on all those around him, hence the title "Pachad Yitzchak."
