Arie Rothman ( February 14, 1921 - December 7, 2006 ) was an Israeli painter , illustrator and artist . He was born in Vienna and immigrated to Israel in 1940. Rotman, one of the founders of kibbutz Ein Hamifratz , was the secretary of the Kibbutz Artzi Sculptures and Painters Association, and like many other artists of his generation was an autodidact . Winner of the Hermann Struck Prize for 1966.
