Two volumes, manuscript with the list of book at the Etz Hayyim yeshiva—the oldest yeshiva in Israel—Jerusalem, beginning of the 20th century.
Catalogue of the books held by the Etz Hayyim yeshiva. First volume includes the list of Chiddushim on the Shas and poskim. Second volume has the books of Agadah, Kabbalah, and Mussar. Lists the serial number of the book, name of the book, purpose of the book, and name of the author. The beginning of the volumes list the names of the editors. Rav Haim Shalom HaLevi Segel (1918-1983) was a gaon and author of books descended from the Admor HaZaken, the Ba’al HaTanya. When he was 16 he took upon himself a ta’anit from speaking, during which he learned the whole Shas 4 times. Among the most important rabbis of Chabad, was appointed by the Rebbe to be the “Ba’al HaBayit” of Israel as part of the United Nations of the Chassidic world. | Original bindings, stamps of ownership.
