Ephraim Moshe Lillian, an avid Zionist and delegate to the Fifth Zionist Congress 
He was the first Zionist illustrator and photographer. 
His most famous photograph is the portrait of Theodor Herzl standing on the balcony of the Three Kings Hotel in Basel during the Fifth Zionist Congress in 1901. 
Lillian Eyre Many Zionist books. However, he became famous in all the centers of Jewish culture around the world thanks to the book Lider Des Ghetto, written by Maurice Rosenfeld and translated from Yiddish into German by Berthold Feivel. 
Lillian, who was born in Eastern Europe, illustrated Rosenfeld's poems with images from the life of the Jewish town he knew and in the style of the Art Nouveau, decorated with Jewish symbols - a Star of David, Sabbath candles, an altar and the Jew watching Zion.
