Rare promotional brochure with a short history of ‘cabaret’. Illustrated with 6 colour reproductions of drawings of costumes and sets, by A. Chudjakow, P. Tschelischtschew, and Larteau. With 5 photographic reproductions of the theatre, and a portrait of Jushny, one plate tipped-in.
Condition: Covers detached, browned, fragile paper, chipped and with missing places to edges because of fragile paper. Internally – yellow paper, some small foxing stains, bends to corners.
