Obverse: 6-lined legend in center "High School of Rabbi Jacob Joseph School 163 Henry St. N.Y.C" + double-ring legend "To Commemorate the Laying of the Corner-Stone Dec. 2nd 1928". Reverse: Tablets; double-ring Hebrew legend with Hebrew date Lammed [30] Kislev 5689. Founded in 1903 & named after Rabbi Jacob Joseph, Chief Rabbi of NYC's Association of American Orthodox Hebrew Congregations. The school still exists, as an Orthodox Jewish day school. Uncommon token as it bears side fully in Hebrew. In UNC-BU.
