105 Bound Biblical Engravings, Gerard Hoet – Hague, 18th Century

105 Biblical engravings created by various artists, most after paintings by the Dutch artist Gerard Hoet (1648-1733). [Hague, ca. 1728].
105 high-quality engravings depicting Biblical scenes. Each engraving is ttiled in Hebrew, English, German, Latin, French and Dutch. The engravings are from the book "Figures de la Bible" published in Hague in 1728 (by P. de Hondt. Originally, the book contained 212 engraved plates).
The engravings are pasted into an album bound with a red binding with leather spine and corners. The inscription "Gravures Anciennes Bible" is embossed on the front cover.
Leaves with engravings: approximately 39 cm. Binding: 53.5 cm. Overall good-fair condition. Stains (to engravings and album leaves). Tears and damages to edges of some engravings (some have restorations). Tears at the edges of the album leaves. The engravings are numbered by hand in the upper corner. Stains and damages to binding. Slight peeling and tears to binding, primarily to spine and corners (open tears to spine).
