Arie Navon (Kligman)

Arie Navon became a well-known illustrator of children's books. In 1932 he illustrated his first book, The Wisdom of the Beasts, by Avigdor Hameiri. During his years of work, Navon has published over 50 books, including the poet Abraham Shlonsky's "Mickey Mouse". During those years he also illustrated the books of Leah Goldberg and Natan Alterman, who were his good friends.

On the side, Navon also illustrated comics for the last page of Davar LeYeladim, between 1936 and 1954, stories most of which were written by the poet Leah Goldberg. According to Navon, in later years Leah Goldberg was in love with one-way love and "miserable" for his definition ...
