Small, beautifully handwritten volume containing three interesting compilations and title pages.
1] Hashkamas Hapoker: A sarcastic parody of the morning routine listed in the Shulchan Aruch, along with a humorous explanation titled "Magen Avrim," a takeoff of Magen Avraham, the commentary that is printed around the Shulchan Aruch.
The purpose of the treatise is to show those who are immersed in their food and appearance how their entire lifestyle runs contrary to the Shulchan Aruch. Based on his style and language it is evident that the author was a well-versed scholar.
2] "A Story from the Famous Anonymous Man": The story of Yoshka's birth translated from Yiddish to Hebrew by Ephraim ben Moshe Tzvi (E.B.M.Tz.) of Boguslav.
3] Aleph-Beis Riddles: A small manuscript pamphlet with riddles on all the Aleph-Beis.
A colophon on the last page marks 1889 as the date of the booklet's completion.
