Long Letter from Rabbi Moshe Aharon Halberstam, Son of Rabbi Chana of Kolshitz, 1920
A long letter dated 1920 from Rabbi Moshe Aharon Halberstam, son of Rabbi Chana of Kolshitz.
It seems that the recipient previously suggested that his father, Rabbi Chana of Kolshitz, should travel to America to which Rabbi Moshe Aharon responds, " You know his behaviors and he won't go there."
Rabbi Moshe Aharon Halberstam of Kolshitz was the son of Rabbi Chana Halberstam of Kolshitz and grandson of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Frysztak. From a young age he published novellae and assisted his father in his position as rabbi of Kolshitz. He was killed in the Holocaust along with his wife, the daughter of Rabbi David Dov Meizlish who was the Av Beis Din of Ohel, and his sons.
