Etching after hand drawings of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832).
Originally came in a booklet with six poems by Goethe and six etching after drawings made by Goethe a number of years earlier and chose specifically for this publication (one etching missing).
The plates were etched by Carl Wilhelm Holdermann (active 1820-1840) and by Carl Lieber (active 1820s).
Published by Carl August Schwerdgeburth (1784-1878).
