A deed attesting to the sale of the private land of Rachel Hirschfeld of Rishon Le'Zion to her fiancé Ya'akov Zvi Meisel. With the official stamp of the committee of the Rishon L'Zion community and the signatures of its heads, the founders of the Moshava/
"Before us the witnesses, the maiden Rachel Hana the daughter of Reb Eliyahu meir Hirschfeld stated that of her free will she is giving her estate here in Rishon Le'Zion of about 30 Dunam of land … to her fiancé Mr. Ya'akov Zvi Meisel…"
The document is signed by seven members of the committee of the Moshava, most of whom were also its founders and some of them, members of Bilu:
Aharon Mordechai Freeman, the leader of the group. He established a court in the Moshava and served as its judge. Died in 1924.
Dov Lobeman, the chairman of the committee.
Menashe Meirowitz (1860-1949), the only Bilu who lived to see the establishment of the State.
Yehuda Idel Tzalachin, one of the first members of Bilu. Imigrated to the Land of israel in 1882 and was one of the founders of Rishon Le'Zion.
Ze'ev Gordon, the father of Yehoshua Gordon.
Shimshon Belkind (1865-1937), one of the first members of Bilu, the son-il-law of Aharon Mordechai Freeman and the father of Na'aman Belkind.
Sheraga Feibel Rosen (1855-1932), one of the first teachers of Rishon Le'Zion and the only calligrapher in the Moshava.
Katriel Rappaport (1872-1929), the secretary who later was the chairman of the committee.
The seller of the land: Rachel Henya Shapira (who married Ya'akov Zvi Meisel) immigrated to the Land of Israel in 1888 with her family. They settled in Rishon Le'Zion.
