A brass token in the value of 1 (Piaster or Metlik), for use by Zichron Ya'akov settlers. Minted in Paris in 1885 in order to deal with the lack of change. Obverse: "Zichron Jacob" and value. Reverse: "Zichron Jacob". Diameter: 25 mm.
