Be'er Avraham. Lemberg, 1868. First Edition
Be'er Avraham. To understand the unclear in the Tikunim [Tikunei HaZohar] by Rabbi Avraham Avele - teacher of young children in Drohobitch. Lemberg, 1868. First edition.
Specifications: [4], 56 leaves. 25 cm. Stefansky, Chassidut 71.
Background: The author, Rabbi Avraham Avele of Drohobitch was born in 1760. He was a hidden tzaddik and kabbalist who earned a living teaching young children. He was a disciple of the Chozeh of Lublin, who, according to what is written on the title page, disclosed his disciple's greatness [and even sent him people in need of salvation.] The author passed away in 1835. His son wanted to print the work, and even received approbations from Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Zidichov, the Yismach Moshe and others. However, he didn't print it due to censorship. The book was first printed in 1869 by his grandson. Includes important approbations, including one from Rabbi Yosef Shaul HaLevi Notenhausen, Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik of Zidichov, and an amazing approbation from Rabbi Yitzchak Yehudah Yechiel Eizik of Komarna, Rabbi Yechezkel of Shinova and more.
