Photographs and a Dutch translation of "Tehilim" (Psalms), from the estate of Yehudah and Ruchama Pinkhof, from the Dutch Pinkhof family. Some of the sons and daughters of this family were prominent activists in the "Pioneers Underground" in Holland during the holocaust.
1-6. Six photographs taken in Hohwald – "Ram Yaar" Sanotorium in Davos, Switzerland, and its vicinity, winter 1946-1947.
The photographs depict the sanatorium building (from outside), dining room of the sanatorium, the couple Pinkhof together, and Ruchama Pinkhof. Three of the photographs are ink-stamped "Photo Gehri", Davos, one is ink-stamped "Photohaus Berger", Davos, and one is not stamped.

On top of one of the leaves appears the title "Derde Literatuuravond NZB" – "third literary evening, NZB" (Nederlandse Zionistenbond=NZB), and the date - "Autumn 1934".
Size and condition vary. Good overall condition.
