A collection of letters and documents by prominent rabbis of Morocco.
Among others:
A certificate signed by Rabbi Chaim David ben Sussan (1881-1960) Rosh Av Beit Din and Chief Rabbi of Casablanca since 1935. Also signed by Rabbi Shimon Chaim ben Baruch. [1947].
Letter of recommendation (for a philanthropist related to the Abuhatzeira family, Rabbi Shimon ben Yitach) handwritten and signed by Rabbi Shalom Abuhatzeira, the rabbi of Bashar, Algiers and at the end of his days, a rabbi in Marseille, France (1893-1974). Size: 10x13cm. Condition: good.
Letter by the Beit Din of Casablance, Morocco, signed by the Dayanim Rabbi Shmuel Marciano, rabbi Shimin Chaim ben Harush and the Rabbi Yareh Set. Validation of the signatures by Rabbi Chaim ben Sussan, the Rosh Av Beit Din and Chief Rabbi of Casablanca. 1946.
An additional letter by the Beirt Din of Casablance, Morocco, signed by the scribes of the Beit Din Rabbi Yehuda Ha'Cohen, Dr. Lafobek and Rabbi Chanun Hassan. Validation of the signatures by Rabbi Chaim ben Sussan, the Rosh Av Beit Din and Chief Rabbi of Casablanca. 1957.
A collection of family letters written in Judeo-Arabic, most of them from 1925, by a man named Avraham who sent to his family members "Ruchi Ya'akkov", "Mama Esther" and "Mama Zohara".
