"Midrash Bavli" – a Composition Handwritten by its Author containing the Aggadot of the Talmud Ordere by the Parashiyot – the 1920's – includes an Approbation Handwritten by Rabbi Raphael Belsam
An anthology of sayings of the Sages ordered by the Parashiyot of the Torah. By Rabbi Mordechai Leichter, "one of the residents of our city Hanover".
Among the sayings, the author added sgort additions and commentary, in square brackets, to help understand them.
The volume before us includes the Paradhiyot of Bereshit-Mishpatim.
At the beginning of the leaf, an approbation handwritten by Rabbi Raphael Belsam Av Beit Din of Radomyshl and Hanover, author of th e"Nachalei Afarsemon" Responsa.

The author: most likely Rabbi Mordechai Leichter who was born in 1880 and was on eof the leaders of the Siget community. He was a well-known Zionist activist. Authored "Ma'mar Mordechai" – Mussar and defense of the Jewish religion and its customs. He immigrated to the Land of Israel in 1934 and lived in Rechovot, where he was the chaiman of the branch of "Ha'Mizrachi".
