Letter by the Breslov Hassid Rabbi Ya'akov Ze'ev Ha'Cohen Brazesky
A letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Ya'akov Ze'ev Ha'Cohen Brazesky, one of the leaders of the Breslov Hassidim of the Land of Israel. The letter was sent to the Breslov Hassidim of New York. Jerusalem, 1948.
The content of the letter: a request for monetary support towards the marriage of his daughter, Feige. Two written pages, signed by "Ya'akov Ze'ev ben Rabbi Yitzchak Gershon Ha'Cohen Brazesky of Warsaw".
Rabbi Ya'akov Ze'ev Ha'Cohen Brazesky immigrated to the Land of Israel during the 1920's and settled in Jerusalem. He was one of the oldest Breslov Hassidim in the Land of Israel. Served as a prayer leader of a "Kibbutz" in Meron. Died in 1985.
