Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Telzner is the Rebbe's shaliach and rabbi of the Chabad community in Melbourne , Australia , and served as a teacher in the Lubavitch community in London .

He was born in 1948 to his father Rabbi David Shraga Telzner [1] and to his mother Mara Zelda, and during the time of the covenant he was named Zvi Hirsh after his grandfather on his father's side.

As a young man, he studied at Yeshivat Toras Emet Yerushalayim , and later studied at the Tomei Temimim Yeshiva in 770. In 1968 he was one of the shluchim at Yeshivat Toras Emet Yerushalayim, together with his friends Rabbi Chaim Ashkenazi , Shimon Rosenberg , Pinhas Travenik and other members.

After his marriage in the month of Elul 5706 with his wife, Mrs. Leah Miriam Bluma, daughter of Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Gruner, the Rebbe's emissary and rabbi of the Chabad community in Melbourne , Australia , he traveled to London and served as a righteous teacher in the Lubavitch community in the city.

In 1999 he joined the hundreds of rabbis and teachers who signed the judgment that the Rebbe was the King Messiah .

After the passing of his father-in-law in the month of Tamuz 5768 , he was appointed as the rabbi of the Chabad congregation in Melbourne , Australia .
