Passover Haggadah "Ma'aleh Beit Chorin" – Amsterdam, Proops, [1810] - with Impressive Illustrations and Map
The "Ma'aleh Beit Chorin" Haggadah. Passover Haggadah with commentary by Rabbi Moshe Alsheich, the Maharal of Prague, Rabbi Shlomo Efrayim Lunshtitz and Rabbi Yitzchak Abravanel. With Ashkenazic translation by Yoel Bril. Amsterdam Proops printing press. [1810].
Two title pages, the first, copper-etched and the second with a wooden-etched frame. Throughout the Haggadah, impressive copper-etched illustrations.
At the end of the book, there us a large, folded map of the journeys of Bnei Yisrael in the desert. The map was printed on a thick, high-quality, large paper (53x31 cm.). Slight flaws. The map is bound upside down by mistake! (enclosed is an additional, identical map which is torn in half with an omission of at least half of the map).
Ya'ari 370; Otzar Ha'Haggadot 526.
Handwritten signature on the second title page: "Aharon ben Yirmiya ---"
9, 50 leaves + a folded map. 26 cm.
Condition: Good. Stains. New binding.
