Two autograph letters of Torah novella written to R. Yosef Rosen (Rogatchover Gaon). One of the letters discusses a scenario where Chometz is sold to a Non-Jew who subsequently converts to Judaism during Pesach. The other discusses the laws of Ma’aser.
R. Moshe Yitzchak Ha’Levy Segal (1881–1947) was an outstanding Talmid Chochom, who received Semicha from Rav Yechiel Michel Epstein (Oruch Ha’Shulchan). He served as Rosh Yeshiva in Yeshivas Eitz Chaim in London and in Manchester Yeshiva. In Manchester in addition to his duties in the Yeshiva he was instrumental in the development of the Orthodox community. Father of the renowned R. Yehuda Zev Segal who was his successor as Manchester Rosh Yeshiva.
