Autograph card written on Erev Rosh Ha’Shana wishing a L’Shana Tova. With unusually warm wishes that all the Tefilos be accepted.
R. Dovid Nieman (died 1908) was among the distinguished talmidim of the Chasam Sofer. He served first as a Dayan and later as Rosh Bais Din in Pressburg where he was greatly respected. He is mentioned numerous times in the responsa of the Ksav Sofer. Author of sefer Nir L’Dovid.
