 printed in Zhitomir 1857 – 1858 by the Shapiro Brothers, grandsons of the Rabbi of Slavita.

Following the first title page are endorsements from Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel of Apta, Rabbi Mordechai of Chernobyl and a rare endorsement from the Sar Shalom of Belz.

What makes this sefer unique is the inclusion of a Halachic question from the Baal Shem Tov. The question is written in the Yoreh Dei’ah section and is posed to Rabbi Meir, the son of the Yavetz, signed Yisrael Baal Shem from Tlist.
