Joint Letter by Rabbi Nissim Karelitz and Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach
Letter of recommendation seeking financial support for the heads of large families to enable their Torah learning. The first section of the letter is handwritten and signed by Rabbi Nissim Karelitz [born in 1926, one of the leading authorities in Jewish law of his generation], and the second section of the letter is handwritten and signed by the gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach [1911-1995, one of the leading authorities in Jewish law, and among the leaders of Lithuanian Jewry]. Includes their personal seal. 7 Tishrei 5753 (1993).
