Ohev Yisrael, Hassidic Derashot on the Torah, "pure sayings said by the holy Rebbe Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heshil Av Beit Din of Apta".
Zhitomir 1862. Printed by the brothers Chanina Lipa and Yehoshua Heshil Shapira the grandsons of the Rabbi of Slavita. The book was prepared for printing by the author's grandson Rabbi Meshulam Zussia of Zinkov with a poem by him in honor of his grandfather the author.
At the beginning of the book, approbations by the Rebbes Rabbi Aharon Twersky of Chernobyl and Rabbi Avraham Ya'akov Friedman of Sadigura.
The book contains many omissions of words, sentences and even complete passages made by the Russian censor. The editor took the manuscript to Lvov, where he printed a completion booklet of 4 pages.

Condition: Fair. No binding. Most of the leaves are detached or loose. Significant time stains and stains of dampness. A consistent tear in the inner margins of all the leaves.
