One of the editions that were printed during the author's lifetime and the first edition that was printed in Shklow.
An extremely rare edition!
In the copy before us, unlike many other copies, 'Igeret Ha'Teshuva' is bound together with the first and second sections. However, it is difficult to determine whether this was originally done or only a few decades ago.
On the leaf after 'Sha'ar Ha'Yichud Ve'Ha'Emunah', a 'Table of Errors' was printed with printing errors that appear in both sections of the book as well as in the third section of 'Igeret Ha'Teshuva'. On the reverse side of this leaf, information about the printers, residents of Shklow.
Condition: Good. Nice, new binding with golden decorations. Stains of use. Dampness stains. The title page was completed from another copy of the book. It is restored with no damage to the printed text. Omission of several letters on the upper part of the page on the reverse side of the title page. ancient handwritten correction on leaf [2]. Small, clean, minor moth signs. The last leaf of the book [18] is restored with no damage to text. All the leaves are thick and of high quality. An impressive copy very well preserved.
