Master edition of all subsequent editions that were published in Russia-Poland. This second edition was published more than 90 years after the printing of the first edition in Amsterdam, 1701.
The Kabbalistic book 'Raziel Ha'Mal'ach' contains many well-known Segulot which were printed for the first time. Among the Segulot, there are also Kabbalistic illustrations and amulets for protecting the mother and more.
According to the preface of the book and according to the Zohar, the composition of 'Raziel Ha'Mal'ach' was given to Adam by the angel Raziel. The book was edited in its printed version approximately eight hundred years ago.
This book is the earliest among Jewish sources that draws a hexagon star (a hexagram or Star-of-David). The shape appears many times in the book with kabbalistic concepts.
Possessing the book is a well-known Segulah for protection against damage and fire, as noted on the title page of the book.
The preface of the book also notes the special Segulah of possessing the book "… he who has the book in his house will certainly be saved from the fire…"
On leaf 10, an ancient Kabbalistic gloss. Completely cut off.
