The prayerbook opens with an approbation from Rabbi Yehuda Leib Yanovitch. Leaf 72 features the prayer for Emperor with mention of his name and that of his family: Nikolay Aleksandrovich (Emperor Nicholas II), his wife Grand Duchess Alexandra Feodorovna, his mother Maria Feodorovna and heir apparent Alexai Tsarevich." A flyleaf bears a [Hebrew] owner notation: "This prayerbook is owned by Rabbeinu the naggid and chassid...Rabbi Yehuda Aryeh Zilberberg."
Missing spine. Detached leaves. The binding is worn. Worn cardboard slipcase with tears on the cloth jacket. Creases and stains.
