Magnificent Jewelry Box - Ivory. India, Beginning of the 20th Century
Magnificent jewelry box made of dense ivory - hand made.
Decorations depicting Chinese garden scenes on the sides of the box. Decorations of leaves and flowers on the lid. The box is placed in a wooden box on four legs with a wood and glass frame whose base is made of velvet. The box's lid opens by way of two hinges on the back side. A lock is at the front with a light break in the upper part [without a key].
Box dimensions: 24x9 cm. Height: 7 cm.
Wood frame dimensions: 30x14 cm. Height: 18 cm.
Very fine condition.
