Letter by the Rebbe Rabbi Yosef Meir Kahane of Spinka
Letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yosef Meir Kahane of Spinka to his son Rabbi Alter Kahane (the would-be Rebbe of Zidichov-Spinka). Jerusalem, 1966.
Added is the original envelope with the handwriting of the Rebbe and a Kvitle, most likely also in his handwriting.
The Rebbe Rabbi Yosef Meir Kahane (1910-1978), the son of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Av Beit Din of Spinka and the grandson of the "Imrei Yosef" of Spinka. Served as a rabbi and head pf yeshiva abroad. He arrived in Jerusalem in 1941 and founded there his Beit Midrash and the "Imrei Yosef" Yeshiva.
