CHARLES X: (1757-1836) Last King of France 1824-30. Count of Artois. D.S., Charles-Philippe, one page, folio, Versailles, 11th February 1781, to Antoine Bourboulon, Treasurer of the House of Artois, in French. Charles X instructs his correspondent to pay to Sieur Ruffay the amount of 6479 pounds stating `according to the King´s State Council, the obligation of payment has been liquidated and we are in agreement with..´ Countersigned by Sainte-Foix. Folded.
