Letter printed on a typewriter on official letterhead of the yeshiva, from 1942. Signed by Rav Tikochinsky, on a recommendation for a boy, Reuven Elizur Weisfisch, who “wants to continue his studies in one of the places.” 3. Letter printed on a typewriter on official letterhead of the yeshiva, from 1949. Signed by the Rav, to Rav Reuven Elizur Weisfisch. Rav Tikochinsky (1871-1955) was a rabbi of Jerusalem and head of the Etz Haim institution, author of Luach Eretz Yisrael and for many halachic books He was certified by Rav Shmuel Salant, rabbi of Jerusalem. Married the great-granddaughter of Rabbi Shmuel Salant. The Jerusalem municipality recognized his memory by the street name Gesher HaHayyim in Mekor Baruch from the name of his book.
