A Fine and Important Silver Hanukkah Lamp, by Israel A. Goldman, Warsaw, 1876-1890
The backplate composed of a cut repoussed sheet mounted on a solid silver back. Depicting a Menorah with a fish-form base, flanked by leaping deer. Fronted by an openwork balcony with 8 crowned, gilt leaping lions serving as oil fonts. Resting on four paw like feet. Fully marked.
