Torah ark (dismantled), Poland (Tsarist Russia), made of chestnut wood, carved with folk motifs, the crown with lions and covenant tables. The ark was dismantled and brought to Bronx, New York, USA, where it served as Tora ark, but when the building was sold to gentiles, was dismantled again and brought by David Romanoff Z"L to Israel. The ark was not built again in Israel
