The World of Shmuel Shlezinger is a world in potential, a world of internal movements and an inward gaze Shlezinger offers a world containing spiritual delight the colors too, though expressive, serve the quiet statement, the simple message. In 'Shmuel Shlezinger paintings' Tefen, The open Museum, 1996, pp.10-11. Biography: Shmuel Shlezinger was born in Poland in 1896. He studied in the State art academy in Nurenberg. In 1919 he immigrated to Palestine and settled in Jaffa. Between 1922 and 1925 Shlezinger lived in Paris. In 1953 together with Marcel Janco he became a founding member of the Artist's Village in Ein Hod.
