A 1000 Shekel Banknote - Maimonides with an Error in Text Graded 68b. Rare
A thousand shekel Bank of Israel banknote 1983 - Maimonides. Pick #49a with an Error in Text, graded EPQ 68 in the PMG grading.
Next to the right edge are the words [in Hebrew]: "Maimonides Rov Moshe ben Maimon" in place of the word "Rav" which was printed on all of the banknotes, the word "Rov" was printed without the vertical line of the letter 'hay'.
The banknote was examined by the PMG and received a rare grading which refers to to the mistake as they defined the banknote: 'Error in Text' Rare!
