Flowers and Pictures of the Holy Land. An album of pictures from the Holy Land in colored lithographic print - large format. Glued to the parallel page of each picture are large dried flowers taken from the same area as the picture.
Scenes from the city of Jaffa, Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem, the Tower of David, the site of the Temple, the Western Wall, Mount of Olives, Christian and Muslim holy sites, Rachel's Tomb and more. Each picture is described in three languages, English, French and German.
The flowers are protected by wax paper, olive wood binding with a carving of a Jerusalem Cross in a decorated border, wood inlays in a pleasant pattern, and the word Jerusalem in Hebrew and English.
Album: 31x23 cm. Picture plates: 25x18 cm.
Stains. A glued fissure along the length of the front and back of the wooden binding. The dried flowers are in very fine condition.
