Double ketubah form [Hebrew on one side with English opposite, on one paper] with pictures in gilded ink and empty lines to be filled in by hand. Printed at Hebrew Ruo & Co. 1915 "according to the way we count in North America."
A blue lithograph showing a canopy scene is on the English side. The ketubah is in the style of the ketubahs made in Holland with images of children with trumpets and angels. The ten commandments and a bridegroom's hand held out to the bride are at the bottom. Architechtural frame with stars of David with "The voice of joy and the voice of gladness the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride" written.
Ketubahs from North America in those years are rare.
Not found in the ketubah collection in the National Library.
Tears in the margins. Tear in the lower right side with lack and no damage to text. Fold mark in the middle.
Moderate - fine condition.
