Coupons that were used to collect money for the refugees of Dachau concentration camp – mainly political Polish refugees. the money was collected by the Polish Committee for Dachau together with the Red Cross.
Dachau was the first concentration camp built by the Nazis already in 1933. At first, it imprisoned those who opposed the Nazis and communists. Later, various other criminals were also sent there. During its years of activity, about 200,000 people passed through the camp, a third of them Jews. During the years, many experiments on the prisoners were conducted there.
