1. Responsa by R. Shlomo ben Aderet (the Rashba), Part III. Livorno: Gio. Vincenzo Falorni, 1778. First edition.
Stamps, signature and ownership inscriptions of R. Fischel HaKohen Lapin (a wealthy Jew in Lithuania and Jerusalem, associate and close disciple of R. Yisrael of Salant; see enclosed material).
[2], 94 leaves. 30 cm. Good condition. Stains. Some worming, slightly affecting text on one leaf. Old binding, tear to spine.
2. Responsa of the Rashba, Part IV. Salonika: Mordechai Nachman and David Israelija, [1803].
Signature on title page and inscriptions extending over first leaves.
[3], 74 leaves. 32.5 cm. Wide margins. Good-fair condition. Stains, including dampstains. Worming, repaired with paper. Minor marginal tear to title page. Original binding, loose, with damage and worming.
3. Responsa of the Rashba, Part V. Livorno: Pietro Meucci, [1825]. First edition published by R. Chaim Palachi of Izmir, with his comments titled Rachamim LeChaim, and with the approbation of his grandfather R. Refael Yosef Chazan, author of Chikrei Lev.
Two-line gloss on p 28a in Oriental script, signed by R. Mordechai Abadi (author of Maayan Mayim, leading kabbalist in his times, d. 1883).
