The present book contains a collection of works, mostly of patently kabbalistic nature, selected by R. Shmuel Ashkenazi from the writings of R. Yosef Shlomo Delmedigo of Candia.
Glosses in Italian and Oriental script in several places (trimmed).
110; [8], 208 leaves, [1] folded leaf between leaves 195-196. Lacking 12 leaves: first 10 leaves of Bechinat HaDat, general title page (Hebrew and Latin), originally bound at the beginning of book, and [1] folded leaf, originally found between leaves 164-165. 17.5 cm. Overall good condition. Some leaves browned. Stains. Worming, slightly affecting text. Some tears, including minor open tear, affecting text in one place. Several loose leaves and gatherings, final leaf detached. Card binding with parchment spine, damaged.
