Classic work of halachic responsa by R. Yitzchok Ben Shmuel Adarbi.
R. Yitzchok Ben Shmuel Adarbi (c. 1520-1572), was a talmid of R. Yosef Tiatzik. Known as an eminent Posek, he was appointed as Rav at a young age and was one of the great Rabbonim of Salonika. The author writes in the introduction that he named the Sefer Divrei Rivos (words of contention) as many of the halachic responsa seek to resolve disputes.
