On the lower part of the photograph it was written: Gross Rabbiner Avraham Matityahu Friedman Shalita Me'Shtefaneshti".
The Rebbe Rabbi Avraham Matityahu Friedman of Shtefanesht (1848-1933), the grandson of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin. Many miraculous stories were told of him. His bones were brought to the Land of Israel and many people visit his grave.
