An interesting handwritten document from 1927 (Nissan 19, 5687) in which Rabbi Noah Braver and Rabbi Eliyahu Chaim Epstein [?] (director of a home for the elderly) attest that Reb Aharon Yosef Reichman of Lublin "is a loyal and moral man and is worthy of being accepted to the police". The document is signed by the two rabbis.
Rabbi Yehuda Noah Braver, the author of the books 'Shlom Yerushalyim' and 'Avnei HaLevanon', served as the head of the rabbinical court in the city of Baranov in Poland. Was a devoted follower of the Grand Rabbi Leib Eiger of Lublin. After immigrating to Israel, Rabbi Braver settled in Jerusalem and became famous as one of its greatest rabbis. He frequently dealt with the laws of the Temple and the Temple Mount. He was a frequent visitor in the home of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook.
Very good condition. Filing holes.
