Tractate Avodah Zara of the Talmud Bavli, printed in Zhytomir by the partners, the grandsons of the Rabbi of Slavuta Rabbi Chanina Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel Shapira. 1858.
A unique copy that had belonged to two of the great Tzaddikim of Galicia, the sons of Rashei Golas Ariel :
A. The Holy Rabbi Naftali of Naveria the Son of the Holy Rebbe, Rabbi Yehoshua of Belz - Maran the Mahari - his handwritten signature appears in the middle of the leaves of the Rosh, שייך לר' נפתלי בן הצדיק הקדוש מבעלזא נ"י. בחיי הרה"ק מהר"י מבעלזא .
B. His nephew, the son-in-law of his brother-in-law, the well-known Holy Rabbi of Tchechov , Rabbi Yeshayah the son of Maran the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. Pencil ownership inscription: יצחק ישעי' הלברשטאם חופ"ק קראקא.
The Holy Rabbi Naftali, the Admor of Naveria near Lemberg, the son of Rosh Golat Ariel the Holy Rabbi, Rabbi Yehoshua of Belz and the son-in-law of the Holy Rabbi, Rabbi Eliyahu Eichenstein the son of the Holy Rabbi, Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Zhydachiv (Żydaczów). By his second marriage, the son-in-law of the Holy Rabbi, Rabbi Moshe Yosef Shapira, the grandson of the Holy Rabbi of Korets and the brother-in-law of his father the Holy Rabbi, Rabbi Yehoshua of Belz. Many from Lvov-Lemberg gathered to bask in his holiness and in his leadership combining the customs of the Tzaddikim of Belz. Passed away on the 26th of Tevet 1905.
The Holy Rabbi Yeshaya of Tchechov, the youngest son of the Holy Rabbi Maran the Divrei Chaim of Sanz, the son-in-law of the Holy Rabbi Yechiel of Krilowitz the son-in-law of the Holy Rabbi Yehoshua of Belz. For several years, he ate 'Kest' by his in-law the Mahary of Belz, growing up beside him and learning much from his and his son, his uncle the Holy Rabbi the Maharid of Belz. there he also became close to his uncle the Holy Admor Rabbi Naftali of Naveria, whose signature also appears on this Tractate Avodah Zara before us. He was murdered sanctifying Hashem in Bochnia during the Holocaust.
