Rare! First Time On Auction! Letter by Rav Avraham Shapira of Tluste, Brother of Rav Meir Shapira of Lublin
Letter, in Yiddish, written in the final year of his life on Tzom Gedalya 1972. The letter mentions his ancestor Rav Pinchas of Koritz with regard to an esrog on Erev Sukkos. Lined paper. 20/25 cm. 23 lines in his hand and his signature. A few stains and light tears at the margins.
נדיר! לראשונה מופיע במכירות פומביות!
מכתב האדמו"ר רבי אברהם שפירא מטלוסט, בן רבי יעקב משאץ, וצאצא ישיר להרה"ק רבי פנחס מקוריץ. אחיו של הגאון רבי מאיר (המהר"ם) שפירא מלובלין. כיהן כאדמו"ר בארה"ב. נפטר בכ"ג אב תשל"ב.
המכתב ביידיש. ונכתב בשנתו האחרונה לחייו, צום גדליה, תשל"ב (1972). בתוכו מזכיר את זקנו הרה"ק רבי פנחס מקוריץ בעניין אתרוג בערב חג הסוכות.
נייר שורות. 20/25 ס"מ. 23 שורות בכי"ק וחתימתו. מעט כתמים וקרעים קלים בשוליים. מצב טוב.
