Sacred Historic Item: The Chafetz Chaim's Cry from his Sickbed the Day Before his Passing!
"The situation in the yeshivah is such that hunger prevails"!
Rare and sacred historic letter written as dictated by the rabbi of the entire Jewish Diaspora, Rabbi Yisrael Meir HaKohen, author of Chafetz Chaim, sent the day before he ascended to Heaven. Handwritten and signed by his renowned son-in-law, Rabbi Mendel Zaks, on stationery from the Radin yeshivah, and with its stamp. Radin, 23 Elul 1933.
Incomparable historic item - the last letter dispatched in the Chafetz Chaim's lifetime, one day before his passing to encourage and inspire support for the yeshivah. The writer, Rabbi Mendel Zaks, beloved son-in-law of the Chafetz Chaim, who never left his side, mentions his father-in-law the Chafetz Chaim at the beginning of the letter: "In the name of our rabbi, our teacher ... the author of Chafetz Chaim" and also in his signature: "Son-in-law of the gaon Rabbi Yisrael Meir, author of Chafetz Chaim, shlit"a."
Tremendous blessings in the margins of the letter: "May Hashem cause [you] to be inscribed and sealed for the good, and renew for [you] and [your] entire family a year of life and peace and all goodness, selah ... Menachem Mendel Yosef Zaks, son-in-law of the gaon Rabbi Yisrael Meir, author of Chafetz Chaim, shlit"a."
