Letter of rabbinic ordination handwritten, signed and stamped by the gaon Rabbi Chaim Aharon David Deutch, av beit din of Balash Yarmut. Balash Yarmut, 1929.
In this letter, he grants the title "Chaver" to his beloved disciple, the gaon Rabbi [Simchah Bunim] David Sofer, son of Rabbi Shmuel Binyamin Sofer, av beit din of Derecske (author of Divrei Sofrim). The letter is full of the recipient's praise, with his signature in the margins: "The youth Chaim Aharon David ben ... my father, the gaon" as well as his stamp: "Chaim Aharon David Deitch son of the gaon Y. Y. [Yosef Yisrael] z"l, av beit din of Balash Yarmut.
