A Jewish medal, amulet for the birth of a boy. Probably from Germany, 19th century. On the obvers the letter He (Hebrew) and other Hebrew inscriptions "May he grow up to [a life of] Torah, a successful marriage, and good deeds". On the revers an inscription in Hebrew protecting from the Evil Eye and a relief of fish. Diameter: 3.5 cm.
