Writing in French, “Les bobardssortenttoujours du mêmenid” (the bobards always come from the same nest) a poster of German propaganda with a practical drawing done by André Derain. A painting of birds flying around the antennas of the BBC network in London, with an illustration of a map of Britain. The poster symbolizes the “practical stories” program that was broadcast over the radio in England. Four birds with figures: Leon Bloom, Édouard Daladier, Paul Reynaud, and Charles de Gaulle. They are holding in their beaks banners with anti-German, pro-English, or Gaullist slogans. Two birds have symbols of the Freemasons and Judaism. Light tears, 76x114cm. Generally good condition.
